How God Sees Me
Maybe one of the most asked questions about God is His identity. He has taken it upon Himself to leave us with a sufficient answer – a photograph of self-disclosure - unsurpassed in the Divine Witness of Jesus.
Yet, we fear, anger and fade away waiting on a glimpse of God. He leaves no doubt that we are loved, though. We are important to Him. We have purpose that incorporates the smallest aspects of our lives and gives us eternal significance because God is with us!
I am not what I ought to be, I am not what I want to be, I am not what I hope to be in another world, but still I am not what I once used to be, and by the grace of God I am what I am. John Newton • Former Slave Ship Captain & Composer of the Hymn, Amazing Grace
Don’t give up! Even though our picture of God is incomplete, we can know enough about ourselves from His perspective to be moved into new life! This series will teach us how to see ourselves through God’s eyes and grab hold of His expectations for how to live daily in His Kingdom in a way that changes and empowers us to see, to heal and live.
